Who we are

In 1976, after Hans-Martin Viering and Rolf Jentschura founded our firm in Munich, VJP quickly became renowned for its expert guidance in protecting intellectual property law.

 

Now, over 40 years later, VJP boasts more than 30 partners and over 210 highly qualified employees—including legal experts, engineers, and scientists—at our locations in Munich, Düsseldorf, Dresden, Singapore and Taipei.

VJP stands for global expertise in intellectual property, including patent law across Europe and in the United States.

Many of VJP's partners were previously engaged in the patent and legal departments of the most renowned companies. Some served, or continue to serve, as Members of the Examination Boards for the European Qualifying Examination or the Singapore Qualifying Examination.
